It's a Nano world

There is a traveling exhibit at the Nauticus right now called "It's a nano world" and we went on opening day (Saturday). The girls loved getting their faces painted (although the Hawaiian Princess must have rubbed some into her eye causing a glorious dramatic scene by the rope display of all things--the ropes, luckily for her, were not long enough to make a hangman's noose). Daddy dealt with the drama queen :) He's such a good Daddy.

Speaking of a small world, Saturday afternoon/evening was spent with a high school friend of Daddy's who is in the Navy and lives just down the road from us. It's amazing that it took another high school friend living in Council Bluffs, Iowa to reconnect them. It was great fun for me to get to know him and for Daddy to get reaquainted and meet his family and some of his friends. We had a great time and the girls enjoyed playing with other kids as well.
