Summer has come and gone. As always it is bookended by the Disney Princess’ arrival and departure. At the end of summer this year, just after the Disney Princess’ departure, Grandma arrived for about 3 weeks of visiting.
Now Grandma has returned stateside and the cooler, crisper weather seems to have taken hold. It has consistently been in the 40s in the morning as Daddy leaves for PT—gotta get the winter coats and gear outta the basement!!
We are still homeschooling. Some days are better than others, hopefully we will get into a rhythm soon to minimize those not so good days.
School: We continue to home school. The Racing Princess is in 3rd grade, the Hawaiian Princess is in kindergarten and not to be left out, the Baby Princess is in tot school :)
Sports: Both the Racing and Hawaiian Princesses are in soccer. Practices are twice a week and games once a week (one on Fri and one on Sat) that makes four days of soccer.
Awana: The Racing Princess is in T&T this year (the first year since her birth that Mommy is not working specifically with T&T since she is the Awana Commander this year.)
Co-op: Our home school group takes some amazing field trips about twice a month (last week the Racing Princess went with them to a falconry!!) They also have PE once a week—hopefully we will be able to be more consistent about attending this year.
Bible Study: With Mommy attending PWOC (Protestant Women of the Chapel), the Racing Princess is in the home school class and they have a bible study as well. Both of us have work to do throughout the week!
Perhaps I can still find some time to post pics and such from the summer :)
