So we went to the Virginia Air and Space Museum on Saturday.
They were celebrating some anniversary of the Hubble Telescope--so we got to see and try some cool astonaut things. The two big girls got to try on the astronaut's helmet. That was cool. They also had a pair of velcro shorts and showed how when the astronauts ate, they would stick their food to their shorts so that it wouldn't float away. We also got to see a thermal imaging device. They showed how it reads temperatures and changes it's colors with extreme cold (aka a cup of ice)--that was way cool.
The main reason we went was to visit the current traveling Exhibit: Animal Grossology. When we lived in Hawaii, we had seen the Grossology exhibit and it was cool. So was this one. Only the cow part wasn't working. Oh well.
The girls all had fun!!
