MIA

Yes, I know, I have been MIA for quite awhile (really, since July?!?)....so what on earth have we been doing since then?

Well, first of all and most consistently we have been prepping for our move to......
.......... Germany

So three yardsales and a storage unit and three months later....we are still preparing the house to put on the market and living our normal, busy lives.

Daddy goes on days this week...we are not sure what that will look like, but it will be a relief for him to do his work required appointments for the move and such on work time as opposed to his free time.

The Princesses are all growing and looking forward to visiting the orginal Cinderella castle (pictured above). Daily homeschool is essentially on hold right now--oh we do take advantage of teachable moments and reading, but sitting down and "cracking the books" is a random occurence--which delightfully the girls actually miss, so that makes it loads easier when we do have the occasion to "do school". Our homeschool co-op finished today and we will say our farewells to those friends at the Christmas party in December.

We are still going strong with Awana--The Racing Princess is in 2nd grade and on the third book in Sparks. She will will finish her second set of extra credit cards this week and then be able to fully concentrate on her current handbook. She loves being part of the first Sparks to work on all three of the new Sparks books! The Hawaiian Princess loves Cubbies and after a rough start (major attitude issues and unbloggable behavior on her part ) looks forward to attending and saying her verses and trying to do it "all by myself". The Baby Princess is the current tag-a-long for Awana and gets showered with loads of attention being one of only two or three little ones in the nursery!

We are looking forward to being "home" for Thanksgiving. Home is being defined here as the location where our parents live. For any of our friends and family who have a chance to read this before Thanksgiving, you will find us staying with my folks and would love it if you would like to come over and see us.

Guess that gets you caught up on the major stuff :)
