Currently in Hawaii, it is a balmy 73 degrees--light trade winds, so it feels great. We are all wearing shorts, short-sleeve shirts, and slippahs.
In Omaha--where we will be in about 48 hours--it is 17 degrees and feels like 2 degrees. UGH!!!! I haven't had to take wind chill into account for several years now. When it gets below 65 degrees at night, I even think it's cold!! I have totally climatized to Hawaiian weather. I am gonna freeze my toes off!!!! The Hawaiian Princess has never been off island, so she is totally in for a system shock. The Racing Princess kinda remembers going to the Big Island a couple years ago when we stayed at KMC and had a fire at night, but she still puts on long pants and long sleeves when the wind blows too hard.
