we have been to the Transportation Museum on Fort Eustis. Grandpa H. was in charge of a transportation unit when he was in the reserves and Daddy, of course, likes his helicopters. So that was pretty interesting.
Then we went to the Virginia Living Museum. I haven't posted pics from that--but the girls really enjoyed their current traveling exhibit "Animal Secrets". It's a nice little interactive exhibit.
We put an offer in on a house.
Yesterday we went to the Children's Museum--except for all the school groups coming through, it was pretty cool. It's really interesting how the older the school group, the more rambunctious and rude they were. The preschool and kindergarten groups that were there yesterday were VERY well behaved. Some pics are in teh slideshow below. One of the coolest things, I thought, was the bubble display--the Racing Princess created a bubble almost as big as her.
Finally, we were able to pick up the van yesterday!!! Still having some paperwork issues (as in missing an important piece of paper). So we are trying to negotiate red tape to handle the issue--that was the cause of the warmer than normal weather round here yesterday (trying to make a funny comparison between the rising tempers and the 65 degree weather--cuz if you can laugh at something that it doesn't seem as bad as it might be, right?)
Tonight we are all going to the circus. It has been years since I have been to the circus--last time I went was with my Grandparents and my cousin Cassie. Our princesses have never been to the circus, cuz it doesn't travel to Hawaii.
