They DO have Mountain Dew!!

Of course the Dew here at the local store (not on post) looks neon or even a little radioactive :)  This was a 16.9 oz bottle (.5 l in European measurement) and it cost 0,79 Euro--so that doesn't look too bad, right--then you gotta figure in the exchange rate--so today with an exchange rate translates to $1.07.
 
SO it's pretty deceiving the prices of things--you see the numbers and think, not too bad--however, we get paid in dollars, so gotta covert things to dollars to figure out the real cost.  Oh yeah, and the 19% tax is already included in the prices---yes I typed that correctly NINETEEN PERCENT!
