Last Sunday, we went to Rothenburg with Uncle D, Auntie H and their two youngest--pictured here with our girls outside of the Christmas Museum. It was very, very cold--bone-chilling cold and a Sunday to boot, so there was very little open, even with it beign a tourist town. But what a beautiful city!! It is a medieval walled city in the old part of the city dates back to the 12th century. We look forward to going back in warmer weather (and not on a Sunday) to explore the old part of the city more and to try their "Schneeballes"--translated snow balls, a bakery specialty!
