We have a home. We closed on our house on Tuesday afternoon. Painted the Racing Princess' room on Wednesday. Movers unloaded a TON of boxes on Thursday. Today (Friday) I ran away to the library to post this :) We will get the Racing Princess' room set up today and move some stuff from the Hawaiian Princess' room so that we can paint her room tomorrow and then get it set up. It's gonna be a busy couple weeks!!!
The Racing Princess' 5th birthday is Wednesday and she has been asking to go "under the water to the zoo." Since the zoo is in Norfolk, we have to take the bridge-tunnel over, hence we go under the water. We promised her that no matter where we were in the unpacking, we would go to the zoo for her birthday--it's the least we can do--poor kid, this is the second time we have moved so close to her birthday. We will have a party next weekend down in NC at her cousins' house :)
Guess I better go back to the house and see what Daddy and the girls have been able to do and then resume unpacking my kitchen!!
