Daddy carved pumpkins with the girls this morning. Originally, he planned to do this outside, but with it barely 50 degrees this morning, he figured they had better stay inside. The Hawaiian Princess wanted an owl carved into her pumpkin while the Racing Princess wanted a cat. At first the Hawaiian Princess had absolutely NO desire to stick her hand into the ick inside the pumpkin, but after watching sister do it, she got over being grossed out.
I am the one who sorts through all the pumpkin goop to rescue the seeds. I love roasted pumpkin seeds :) Every year, the Racing Princess wrinkles up her nose at it, and yet every year, she helps me devour this tasty treat!
