The Racing Princess thinks that this is just the coolest of her math tools thus far in her educational career. One of the things that she likes the most about it is that it was mine when I was younger. In fact, I don't remember when we got it, just that I have always had it--if that gives you a clue as to how old it is :)
It is a clock to teach time. The hour and minute hands are so labeled and are moveable. The hour numbers come off to reveal the minutes. We started using it to count by 5's and now also use it for teaching time. We had it out again today to introduce the quarter hour.
