Cotton Fields--narrative

So we were driving to the growing little town of Windsor, VA to meet Uncle Elmer for lunch (see post above) and we saw a ton of cotton fields on our way. We took advantage of an opportunity to pull over and have a closer look at this interesting crop. The girls really didn't quite know what to make of it. We even found some on the ground that the girls brought back with them. It was fun encouraging them to brain storm what this crop was used for.
