While we were in DC, we stopped by the Iwo Jima Memorial. The Disney Princess really wanted to see the Lincoln Memorial--so we went down memorial row. Daddy took the two big girls to the Lincoln Memorial, along the reflection pool, the World War II Memorial and the Washington Monument.
The Hawaiian Princess took a spill on the cobblestone sidewalk and scraped her knee, glasses, and forehead (yeah--wish I could have taken picture of that--pretty funny pose) but was in no mood or shape to waltz around memorials--so she and I hung out in the nice warm van watching movies and the sunset.
We are planning to spend some quality time in DC during the summer of 2010 as we will be studying government that summer with the Disney Princess.
