As with every move, the challenge is to make the place we are living really OURS. To convert it from a house to a HOME!
We start with unpacking boxes and finding homes for all of our possessions. But often it requires a bit more.
We are very blessed to live in a townhouse with three levels (pictures to come...eventually) and a yard!! If we had lived on post, we would have been in an apartment much smaller than our place here and no yard.
Daddy spent several hours this past weekend pulling out the weeds and uprooting dying bushes and planting flowers in the small area in the front of our place.
He chose daffodils because they are my favorite flower. Daffodils are the flower of Wales (where I studied for a few months during college) and often the first flower to make it's appearance announcing the arrival of spring, a time of renewal and new beginnings. That and their sunshiny yellow color just make me happy!
