It's recycling day in our town, at least for paper and plastic. Paper goes into the green bins (which are smaller than the recycling bins that we had in Virginia). Plastic goes into thin, easily ripped, yellow plastic bags.
Paper/plastic pick up is once a month!
Our American row of townhouses used lots of plastic this month.

Our trash is picked up every two weeks and the trash bins are smaller than the paper recycling bins!! We are also to recycle metal and glass--but those are not picked up, each town has at least one or more areas where they can be dropped off. I will try to post a picture of such an area soon.
