At the bottom of the Rathaus steps is the following statue…
Cabbage is significant to this town. It is what they are “famous” for. In September, they have a festival and celebrate the cabbage harvest. Our neighbors say that during the harvest season there are roadside stands of cabbage offering a head of cabbage for 1 Euro. Guess I had better find some good cabbage recipes!!!
