Still here….

It’s been a busy month! Daddy went to the field to play Army, came home and has gone again.

The Racing Princess took her end of year tests and is wrapping up the 2nd grade. She is working on her skating skills with her roller skates and inline skates! She alternates between those and her bike and her scooter. Can’t keep her still for a minute!!

The Hawaiian Princess decided she is too old for preschool (she will be 5 next month) and has already begun her kindergarten studies. We work on her schedule right now since when she decides she wants to do school, she rocks out a whole week worth of lesson plans :) She has gotten brave and tried her roller skates a couple of times! She still loves her scooter and can often be seen going around our row of town houses on it!

The Baby Princess thinks she can do everything her sisters can do—so we found her a scooter at the thrift store on post and she has finally figured out how to keep one foot on the scooter and push with the other foot. She isn’t too steady, but she gives great effort!! She is also desiring to do school—and coloring books DON’T CUT IT!! She wants pages that look like her sisters.

Awana will be wrapping up for this year in a couple of weeks. The Racing Princess received her Sparky Award for completing all 3 Sparks books while we were in Virginia, but she will get her extra credit pin at the Awards Banquet. The Hawaiian Princess will hopefully finish her Cubbie book to receive her Cubbie award.

In just a couple of weeks, our summer officially begins with the arrival of the Disney Princess!! The girls are so excited and making loads of plans of all the things they need to tell and show their biggest sister :)

With things winding down, this Mama is trying to get future things planned out. I will be the Awana commander at Chapel next year, so trying to get a grasp of the ins and outs of that process and working with the frame of the Military Chapel. We have also become Trailblazers with American Heritage Girls, a scouting venture.

Off to make my lists, work on summer and fall lesson plans, watch my girls play outside, clean the house, oh yeah and work on my May collage for Grandma and Aunt Alice’s calendars :)
