My folks have a fenced in backyard at their new house and it has a bit of hill by the fence. The girls had a blast rolling down that hill. And at night, there are lightning bugs (which are still a novelty to our girls as Hawaii doesn't have them). The girls also enjoy playing with glow sticks out back after the sun goes down. When the grass is a bit long, it's a great game of go fetch :) It definately helps to tire them out so they will go to bed good.
