Iowa

At the beginning of the week, we went over to Iowa. We have family on my mom's side that lives in Iowa and so we went to visit them.

The Baby Princess met her little prince in the form of Boston--He is about 6 to 8 weeks younger than her--but he started crawling last week. So Baby Princess has now been challenged to crawl and she is taking that challenge pretty seriously. She just needs to figure out how to move her hands without falling flat on her face :) She tends to like to get into a three point stance and then gets stuck or falls.

Aunt Darlene had planted some corn in her yard--there are pictures of the Racing Princess and the Hawaiian Princess standing in front of some good ol' Midwestern grown corn. Course Aunt Darlene is a little sad that it hasn't actually produced any corn yet :)

The Racing Princess found a new friend--surprise, surprise! Haley is 8 years old and the Racing Princess is 6 years old and they are nearly the same height. They had great fun playing together before we had to head back to Omaha.

It was great to see Aunt Darlene, Lynette, Gerald, Annette, Megan, and Haley and to meet Carl and Boston.
